I lost 200 pounds in 2 years without Ozempic – thanks to diet swapping and skipping rope.

Jeanine Raine weighed about 500 pounds and struggled with constant pain and anxiety, and she knew she needed a change.

Constant comments from teachers, nutritionists, family, and friends about her body prevented her from fully expressing herself.

Raine told Today, “The world was mean to me, so I kept to myself. But I’m a very nice person, with a good attitude, but I felt like my voice was quiet because I’m older. ”

Raine also felt anxious and ashamed of her physical limitations, asking for seat belts on airplanes and looking at photos of restaurants to see if she could fit into the seats.

After the first attempt to lose weight at the age of 18, a cycle of restriction and overdoing it in the gym left him heavier than ever; by the time he graduated from college, he weighed 470 kilograms.

Her job as a special education teacher was personally rewarding but physically taxing. “Children are my passion but standing up to teach lessons (it was difficult). I had back pain and knee problems. Everything was painful every day every one.”

The unwellness proved to be so strong that it prompted him to take action, “That’s when I decided that I should take this matter into my own hands.”

She consulted her primary care physician, whose response was most discouraging, telling her that, in the expert’s opinion, she had too much weight to lose. and he cannot do so naturally.

“I get it, you know, (I was) about 500 pounds,” Raine says. “I was eating fast food every day, multiple times a day. But I knew that if I made changes and did what I had to do, I believed that I could at least make a difference.”

Looking for practical advice instead of negative feedback, Raine sought out a therapist who helped her make changes in her eating habits and incorporate exercise into her daily routine. and the sun.

Her new doctor taught Raine to change the type and intensity of her exercise and to find low-cal foods for the meals she craves. It was the little pieces of advice he gave me that were so nice and good that he didn’t bother me and then immediately refused.

To understand and control her calorie intake, Raine vowed to cook all her meals at home. Since he was used to eating soda, processed foods and sugary desserts, it was difficult to overcome his cravings.

In an attempt to control them, he traded soda and water, ice cream for frozen yogurt bars, king-sized candy bars, and a bag of cookies to give them just once.

Over time, her appetite subsided, and she was able to prioritize foods that nourished her body. “The food I put in my body now does not make me feel sluggish. I have power. I don’t wake up tired. I no longer have high blood pressure.”

Although Raine said she had “extreme anxiety” about going to the gym, she was determined to change the way her body looked and felt.

“The first day I went to the gym, I couldn’t even do five minutes on the treadmill. My back was hurting me, but I was like, ‘You know what? I succeeded. I got to the gym.’ And I said, ‘Even if I can do five minutes today, maybe tomorrow I can do seven.

Determined to be consistent, he practiced every day and was able to gradually increase his output. “Finally, the weight started to come off, and eating became easier… Before I knew it, I was down 70 pounds.”

In the two years since she made the decision to transition, Raine has lost an incredible 210 pounds.

Raine chronicled her fitness journey on TikTok and Instagram to inspire others. One of those inspired by her transformation is Raine’s own mother, who recently lost 90 kilograms following her daughter’s example.

As his strength increased, Raine incorporated other forms of exercise. Besides the treadmill, he started lifting weights and climbing mountains and picked up a fun tool from childhood: the jump rope.

In his first attempt at jumping rope, he was unable to lower his body to the ground, but with a feeling of utter defiance, he vowed to continue. He gradually improved, adding tricks and sharing his videos with his social media community.

His jump rope quote is now close to 43 million views and counting. When fans comment on how happy she looks, Raine says that the feeling is as real as her defeat, “In my videos, when I’m smiling doing my tricks, it’s because I’ve spent months” I was trying to catch up.”
